Accept Satispay payments with Checky Pro
The independent wallet: funded straight from the bank account, with no card network anywhere in the transaction. Italian by origin, and now usable across the EEA.
New here? Checky Pro is the payments & checkout platform for modern e-commerce — Satispay is one of the 21 payment methods you can switch on today.
What is Satispay?
Satispay is the Italian wallet that deliberately built around the card networks rather than on top of them. A user links their bank account — an IBAN, not a card — and pays from a small balance the app tops up. No card number is ever created, which is why it can charge merchants less than a card-based wallet has to.
It grew without the banks rather than through them: the same phone as a banking app, but an entirely independent route to market. Millions of Italians use it daily for coffee, groceries and online orders, and its growth has stayed steep — the appeal being an app that is genuinely independent of Visa and Mastercard.
Italy is still where almost all of that volume sits, but the wallet itself is no longer limited to it: a Satispay account works across the European Economic Area, plus Switzerland and the United Kingdom. So switching it on does not only serve Italian shoppers — it serves anyone who has chosen the app, wherever they happen to live.
Online the flow gives the customer a choice: scan a QR code with the app, or type their mobile number and get the request pushed to them. Either way they confirm in the app. There is no card scheme behind the payment, so a completed Satispay payment is an account-to-account transfer — and there is no chargeback procedure attached to it.

Why Satispay, and why through Checky Pro
The top row is the method itself; the bottom row is what our platform adds on top of it.
No card network involved
The money comes from a bank account, not a card. That means no card number in your checkout and no chargeback procedure after it.
QR or phone number
The customer scans with the app or types their mobile number — whichever suits the device they are on.
A daily habit that travels
Millions of Italians use it for everyday purchases, and the account keeps working across the EEA — so it reaches your Italian customers wherever they are ordering from.
One balance across markets
Italian payments land in the same balance and payout schedule as everything else.
Offer it next to cards
Satispay reaches the Italian shoppers who keep their cards out of online checkouts. One more switch in the same dashboard.

Is Satispay a card wallet like Apple Pay?
No, and that is the point. Apple Pay presents a card; Satispay is linked to a bank account and moves money directly, with no card network in between.
What does a Satispay payment cost?
For a company in the EU: 2,95% plus € 0,40 per transaction, with no authorization fee and no currency conversion, because Satispay is paid in euros. Rates differ per region, and outside the EU the euros are converted into your payout currency — switch the region above the pricing table on this page to see yours.
Can a Satispay payment be charged back?
No. There is no card scheme behind it, so there is no chargeback procedure and no dispute fee. A refund is something you issue yourself.
Is Satispay only for Italian customers?
That is where nearly all the volume is, but the wallet works across the EEA, Switzerland and the UK. Anyone who has the app can pay with it, wherever they are ordering from.
Can I offer Satispay as a sole proprietorship?
Yes. Your company form no longer decides which payment methods you can offer: a sole proprietorship gets the same methods as an incorporated company. What counts is where your business is registered — the “Available for” row above shows the regions that can offer Satispay, and the payment methods page has the full coverage.
