1. About this policy
- This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Checky Pro B.V. uses on its website checkypro.com, in the Dashboard and in the Checkout, what they do, and how you control them.
- "Similar technologies" means anything that stores information on your device or reads it from your device, such as local storage, pixels and tags. We treat them in the same way as cookies.
- This policy does not cover the website of a merchant, or the tags that a merchant adds to its Checkout. The merchant is responsible for those, and its own cookie policy applies.
- How we process personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
2. When we ask for your consent
- We use technologies that are strictly necessary to provide the website, the Dashboard or the Checkout that you use, and to keep them secure. For those we do not ask for consent.
- For all other technologies that store or read information on your device, we ask for your consent first. Until you give it, we do not use them.
- You give or refuse consent per category on our website: analytics and marketing. Refusing takes one click and does not limit your use of the website.

- Meta, TikTok and Google may also place cookies on their own domains, and use the information for their own purposes as controllers under their own privacy and cookie policies.
- A lifespan is the maximum period. The technology is removed sooner if you withdraw your consent or clear your browser.
4. The Dashboard
- In the Dashboard we use only technologies that are strictly necessary: to keep you signed in, to protect your account and our Platform, and to remember the display settings you choose, such as light or dark mode.
- We measure how the Dashboard is used with PostHog, without placing cookies or storing other information on your device for that purpose.
5. The Checkout
- In the Checkout we use only technologies that are needed to process your payment and to keep it secure.
- The payment fields in the Checkout are provided by our acquiring partners or by the payment gateways that connect us to them. They may store or read information on your device that is needed for the security of the payment and for fraud prevention, under their own privacy and cookie policies.
- We measure how the Checkout is used with PostHog, including recordings of how its pages are used, in which the details you enter are hidden. For this purpose we do not place cookies or store other information on your device: nothing is kept on your device after you close the page. We keep the measurement data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
- A merchant may add its own tags to its Checkout, for example for analytics or advertising. The merchant decides about those and is responsible for them, including for asking your consent where the law requires it.
6. Managing your choice
- When you first visit our website, you choose per category. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page of the website.
- We ask for your choice again after 12 months.
- Withdrawing consent stops the use of the technology from that moment. It does not affect use before that.
- You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in the settings of your browser. A choice made in one browser does not apply to another browser or device. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent you from signing in to the Dashboard.
7. Changes and contact
- We update this policy when the technologies we use change. The version in force is published on our website with its version number and date.
